Hall Hire

The Collingwood Freemasons meet at the Collingwood Masonic Centre at 141 Gipps St Abbotsford Victoria, Australia.The building is available for short term and long term hire and his its own dedicated hire web site.

Hiring the hall is very important. It allows us to maintain and improve the building and use some of the surplus income for benevolent activities like gifts, sponsorships and grants to organisations and people in need.

Our Strategic Plan

Broadly speaking - our strategic plan focuses on increasing cash flow and undertaking capital works at Gipps St while positioning our hall as an important community asset..

In essence that involves.

• 1. Improve our resources by increasing cash flow

  2. Improve our building through capital works so it can be enjoyed by users, retaining its historic elements and community purposes.

  3. Create a capital fund for future capital works and maintenance.

  4. Seek groups within the community we can support through Grants and or Sponsorships with the cash surplus of our activities.

The above will be under constant review over the coming years.

The success of that last point (4) is very important to us but relies heavily on the successful hiring of the hall (point 1).

We thank all the hirers of the building - we have already started sponsoring two local schools and keenly look forward to doing even more for our local community within the City of Yarra.
